@petty.ezraAfter 748 years the kiln fire of the Fuliang Porcelain Bureau is burning again in Jingdezhen. On July 25 at the Institute of Ancient Ceramics of Jingdezhen Ceramic University, a traditional zhenyao refiring produced Qingbai and blue-and-white porcelain stamped with the bureau’s mark. Modern sensors tracked temperature, atmosphere, airflow and the full firing cycle alongside the old methods #Art

The focus is an ancient brick structure, possibly a kiln or tomb, with an arched opening. Inside the opening, there are two circular indentations resembling eyes and a triangular opening below them with a piece of red fabric hanging. The mood is historical and somewhat eerie, with a rough, aged aesthetic. The brickwork is detailed and shows signs of age. A watermark in the lower right corner reads "人民网 people.cn".
