@murphy_popcornMelissa Barrera got real about being blacklisted from Hollywood on a podcast called Melissa Barrera's Big Year: From Broadway to Hollywood. She called it hard to comprehend but not some new phenomenon, plenty of people got dropped just for stating Palestinians deserve human rights and shouldn't be bombed or attacked. It's sad, she said, that power and money interests can override caring about lives, and that there's a whole effort to silence anyone saying people deserve to live, kids deserve to grow up. Still, she feels the tide has turned, with more folks seeing things for what they are, even if they resisted at first. She tries to hold onto hope because a lot of people actually care and get that we're all connected, you can't ignore something happening on the other side of the world just because it's far. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/melissa-barreras-big-year-from-broadway-to-hollywood/id79681317?i=1000780409156&r=1049
