The premise follows an exhausted middle-aged office worker who adopts a pet bird that turns out to be a reincarnated powerful sage from another world. After striking a pact to live together, they team up to explore both the modern era and the fantasy realm while the worker gradually masters the magic his feathered companion grants him.
