Officials say the place was tied to networks and to helping skilled Iranians get out of the country, that it kept running without the license it needed even after being warned more than once, and that its activities worked against national security and Iranian culture, which they've labeled "illegal activities." The logic being that a foreign-linked establishment doesn't get to just keep operating when there's reason to see it as a security risk
