@jolyon🇬🇧🇮🇷 Britain now believes Iran played a part in that strange RAF Fairford incident. PM Andy Burnham says there are strong indications Iran was involved, but he won't say why, only that more will come out in due course. 5 British men were arrested near the U.S.-used base on Sunday with 3 vans. Police found no explosives inside, only gasoline, and the men are already out on bail. It gets weirder. British media say police think the first call warning them about the vans came from one of the men who was later arrested. Iran's foreign minister isn't having it, telling Britain it's barking up the wrong tree. Source: New York Times / Writer: Daniyal
