@lily.wIvy is trying to manifest people liking her this year, and honestly, the excerpt from Bad Idea is a whole mood. She says it out loud: this year will be better, it has to be, no, it will be. Manifest, right? The thing is, her dad is deep in his manifestation era and brings up the word at least five times a week, though Ivy doesn't think he actually knows what it means or involves. Case in point: last time she was home, he yelled "I manifest a beer" and then looked around on purpose waiting for someone to offer to get him one. As Ivy puts it, that's simply being spoiled. But she did some research and apparently manifestation is a method people really use. You imagine what you want, send that desire out to the universe, little waves of light and positivity, and according to the internet it all comes back to you ten times over. Her family calls her Sunshine, which tracks because she's normally a positive person, and she mentions an older brother named Beau. The sampler also includes the first chapters of Bad Idea, which arrives in March 2027, and literary influencers are getting their media kits for Off Campus with Chapter 1 inside.
