@francesco.eunchaeZach Cregger's RESIDENT EVIL (2026) is still holding strong at the box office, pulling in $2.3 million on its fourth Friday of release. That number actually beat THE SOCIAL RECKONING (2026) right out of the gate, since Aaron Sorkin's follow-up to THE SOCIAL NETWORK (2010) only managed $2.1 million on opening day. It is pretty wild that a film tackling the Facebook Files whistleblower scandal is failing to generate significant revenue based on its real-world subject matter. While THE SOCIAL RECKONING struggles to convert that story into momentum, RESIDENT EVIL is projected to earn over $8 million for the weekend. #ZachCregger
