Britain has decided against taking any offensive actions targeting Iran. Trump has openly criticized this stance. It's not due to any political considerations. Instead, the UK's armed forces lack the physical capacity to perform as they once did. The shortfalls in defense capabilities have become quite severe. The special relationship between the two nations functions effectively only when both sides are able to contribute equally.
