The manga known as Akebi's Sailor Uniform, created by Hiro, has reached a total of 1.35 million copies circulating across volumes one through sixteen, counting both print and digital editions. It presents a slice of life story centered on an upbeat and lively adolescent female who comes from a rural area and goes to an exclusive secondary school, all while treasuring her school outfit greatly. There is also a Spanish language edition issued by Ivrea as well as an Italian version published by JPopManga
