A new overview has laid out where India stands in a range of prominent global indexes. The figures show a nation that performs strongly on certain economic and military measures yet continues to lag in areas linked to quality of life, governance, and social progress. The breakdown places the country 6th in GDP. Its capital, Delhi, ranks 104th on the Smart City list. India comes 25th in the Future Skills Index, 115th on the Global Peace Index, and 102nd in the Global Hunger Index. On military capability it stands an impressive 4th according to the Global Firepower Index. It is 38th in the Global Innovation Index, 116th in the World Happiness Report, and 128th on the Economic Freedom Index. The Energy Transition Index sees it at 71st, while the Sustainable Trade Index ranks the country 23rd. The Henley Passport Index puts India in 75th place. It occupies 63rd spot in the World Talent Ranking and 130th on the Human Development Index.
