A detailed infographic traces the evolution of Korean flags across centuries. The Goryeo Dynasty flag dates back to 1392, followed by the Joseon Dynasty (1882,1907) and a later Joseon variant (1893,1897). The Korean Empire used two flags: the national flag (1897,1910) and an imperial standard (1897,1907). After liberation, the People's Republic of Korea (1945,1946) had its own flag.
