    U.S. v. Jessica Bowie case

Jessica Bowie, 35, is charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS after the FBI says she scouted the New York State Capitol five times to bomb it while senators were meeting. The complaint details how she walked the building on roughly five occasions between July 21 and August 9, taking photos and studying security. She allegedly discussed hiding the device in a DoorDash bag to pass as a delivery worker. Investigators say she bought materials at a Home Depot with $200 from a confidential source, including a large container of nails. She was arrested August 19 after leaving a meeting with an inert gun and device, allegedly carrying knives and a handwritten pledge to ISIS. FBI officials say her plans went further, with talk of Times Square on New Year's Eve and of reaching the White House. Hochul says there was never any active danger and no credible threat now. On-screen text for U.S. v. Jessica Bowie shows a person dressed in black holding up a phone next to a dark-colored SUV with obscured face.
