Some fans wear the name ARMY just to make their profile look better, but when the first conflict hits, they run to defend anyone except BTS. Choosing not to offend anyone is a valid choice, yet you have to be consistent about it. It is simply inconsistent to play the saint only where it serves you conveniently. ARMY isn't obligated to hate other groups, but betraying your own members to gain approval from outsiders crosses a line. There is a sharp contrast between silence when BTS gets attacked and immediate defense when others are criticized. People claim they are for peace and love, saying 'Don't humiliate idols' or 'Let's respect everyone,' but where was that kindness when BTS was being insulted? You can't call duplicity kindness while staying quiet during attacks on your group.
