That daily security alert from a kid pedaling past the sensor could test anyone's patience. No break-in, no danger, just a boy on his bike and an alarm that treated him like an intruder. The man behind the door had every right to be annoyed. He could have yelled at the child, ordered him off the property, or marched over to his parents with a complaint. Most of us would have done exactly that. But he chose to see the kid instead of the problem, and that tiny shift in perspective changed everything. Sometimes it's just deciding not to blow a small thing up into a big one. Kids will be kids, right? Adults are allowed to set limits, but limits don't have to come with a raised voice. Patience works. A little imagination works.
