Security forces are progressively regaining control across Niamey following a night of mutiny, with the Ministry of Defense confirming the situation is now under control. Flights have resumed at Diori Hamani International Airport after being interrupted for several hours due to gunfire near Base 101 and various strategic sites. The official update comes from REPUBLIQUE DU NIGER MINISTERE DES TRANSPORTS ET DE L'AVIATION CIVILE ANAC AGENCE NATIONALE DE L'AVIATION CIVILE, which issued a circular letter addressed to ASECNA representatives as well as the directors of DHIA and NSH regarding the current status.
