A data compilation from Pantheon, MIT Media Lab, and the Global Wikipedia Database ranks the 25 most globally recognized Thai figures, and the top spot goes to King Bhumibol Adulyadej. King Chulalongkorn takes second, with Lisa at third. King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Tony Jaa round out the top five. Thaksin Shinawatra, Alex Albon, King Taksin the Great, King Mongkut, and Yingluck Shinawatra fill out the top ten. BamBam, Buakaw Banchamek, and Chaleo Yoovidhya hold positions eleven through thirteen. Plaek Phibunsongkhram, Pridi Banomyong, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, and Prayut Chan-o-cha follow at fourteen through nineteen. Sunthorn Phu, Apasra Hongsakula, Bright Vachirawit, Win Metawin, Thongchai McIntyre, and Ajahn Chah complete the list from twenty to twenty-five.
