The budget reportedly landing near the $100M mark puts this among the priciest horror productions ever, and Sony is going all-in on the format side too. Roughly half an hour of the runtime is getting the exclusive IMAX Expanded Aspect Ratio treatment, with every frame run through IMAX's DMR process. Cregger's clearly getting the full-scale rollout treatment here.
