Jensen Ackles actually wanted SUPERNATURAL to cross over with either VAMPIRE DIARIES or THE WALKING DEAD at some point. He dropped a specific scenario where they'd nuke the vampires or cut a deal with AMC for THE WALKING DEAD so the Impala could just roll in and end it all.
