The part of Zoey Serrano's story that lingers isnt the release itself, its the breathing. She was mid-session at the EOS gym, phone blowing up all day with word that cuts were coming down the pipeline, when a call finally confirmed WWE was letting her go. Nothing about it felt telegraphed either. She had just been cleared for her knee, so the timing read like business as usual, and she spent the morning trading messages with Chelsea Green and Mia Yim, chalking up that weird gut feeling to nerves and setting it aside. Then the call landed and everything hit at once. Her body shook, the tears came, and she bolted straight for the car because she genuinely couldnt catch her breath and figured her body was spiraling into a panic attack.
