The EPA is launching a study to screen U.S. drinking water, pulling samples from several metropolitan areas to check for over 1,000 potential contaminants. The list includes mifepristone, misoprostol, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and PFAS. This screening detects the presence of substances but does not measure concentration or proven health risks.
