Financial literacy is something that should be part of the school curriculum. Since it isn't, here's a basic starter guide: 1. For the first month, just track your spending before attempting to make any changes. 2. Establish a small emergency fund before you start thinking about investing. 3. Learn to tell the difference between good debt and bad debt.
