Robert Irwin file snake encounter

    بواسطة Biden Worldnews: Steve Irwin

Robert Irwin is out in the wilderness again, carrying on what his dad Steve Irwin started. In a recent clip he’s crouched down in a dark wooded spot, muddy and focused, showing off a file snake. He calls it one of the coolest snakes known to man, and he’s not exaggerating. The file snake has rough skin that feels like a nail file and sharp teeth it uses to catch fish, gulping them down whole. It’s an incredible hunter, yet completely non-venomous and so chill it wouldn’t hurt a fly. Out of water it’s floppy and awkward, but in the water it turns quick and graceful. Robert’s whole thing is teaching people about nature, and moments like this keep that mission alive.

I'm going to show you here one of my absolute favorite animals in the entire world. Just sitting here. This is the coolest snake known to man. Have a look at this. This right here, this is a file snake. One of, if not the favorite snake for me. Look at that, look how he's poking his tongue out. Look at that forked tongue there. so that's how he smells that's how he picks up little scent particles works out what's going on what a beauty now this is one of the most unique snakes in the world he feels like a nail file really really rough skin and that's how he's able to catch a fish with those sharp teeth wrap around it keep it in one spot and then he just gulps it down often whole in one go This is an incredible hunter, but he has no venom. And just look at him. He absolutely would not hurt a fly. He's just so chill. They really are evolved to have everything happen in there, in the water. I see how he's just like super floppy out of the water. He's like a big chubby worm. But as soon as he gets back in there, incredibly quick, incredibly graceful. Watch that. That's awesome.
