AG Todd Blanche addressed reports of a rift between President Trump and US Attorney Jeanine Pirro on Fox News Sunday. The speculation followed Pirro dropping vandalism charges in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool case. NBC asked Blanche about that relationship during the interview. He stated, "I support US Attorney Pirro, as does President Trump." Blanche noted this backing is distinct from the president's reaction to the legal outcome. He said it is different than whether the president is extraordinarily frustrated at what happened in that case. Blanche added he does not in any way fault the president for that frustration.
