Inde Navarrette says watching Gladiator at age five changed everything. Russell Crowe's performance made her feel it all and clarified what she wanted to do as an actor. Oh, Gladiator, Russell Crowe. I watched that movie when I was like five. And that performance, growing up, I didn't really see, like, I wasn't specific to female performances or male performances. I kind of just saw myself in that. And his performance in that made me feel everything. And I just kind of knew what I wanted to do from that. Yeah, and my mom was kind of hearing me do monologues of that film as a child. And she's like, are you okay?
