It's one thing to notice how much lighter BTS seems when they're abroad, and another to sit with why that contrast exists at all. In Europe, the walking and smiling came easy. No one trailing them. No looking over a shoulder every few seconds. That kind of unguarded moment shouldn't be a travel perk, it should be the baseline. What gets me is how long they went without it back home, always on edge, always bracing for the next threat to their safety. That they gave years of their lives to music and to us, and the bare minimum they're asking in return is to be left alone and allowed some peace, says plenty. They've earned the right to breathe easy, to meet people, to have a normal day, no matter where they are. Not just on another continent. Everywhere.
