Eden Northlake police said that the husband of Holly Flores called 911 early Tuesday morning after his wife stabbed him. Then on the call, they said that he referenced postpartum depression. Police arrested Holly Flores at the home after finding her husband with a stab wound to the head and their two young children in a bedroom with stab wounds to their chest. The police chief said that the two small children and husband will survive their injuries. Court documents say that police has been to the home multiple times for, quote, welfare concerns and overdoses. In the court documents, the husband of Flores told police, quote, Holly recently has been dealing with postpartum depression. Justin advised Holly's behavior recently has changed, which caused him concern. Investigators also said he told them, quote, due to the change of behavior he has observed from Holly, he's gone from sleeping on the couch to be closer to the children. Investigators say that the husband did see a knife in the kid's room prior to the stabbing, which, quote, freaked him out. Later, he heard screaming, and when his wife opened the door, she allegedly then had the knife in her hand and attacked him. Holly Flores is in jail for attempted capital murder.
